Welcome Friends! My name is Denise Casey, owner and felting artist for Noah's Novelties. I live in beautiful Southern California with my husband,Sean, a handful of adopted Miniature Pinschers, Meyers parrot and a Green Cheek Conure. I have created pencil drawings, watercolor and oil paintings, sewn equestrian shirts and stuffed animals. I use my art skills and animal experience to create realistic elegant needle felted sculptures that have become a favorite among collectors.
To ensure quality and craftsmanship, everything from the initial concept and design to the final touches are all done by me. I strive to apply as much artistic detail so that each animal is unique and as realistic as possible. For inspiration and lifelike qualities, I often use live animal portraits rather than patterns to instill personality in each creation. Each animal creation is hand finished, trimmed and shaped to give each animal its own unique qualities. It brings me great joy when I create these animals, watching them develop personalities all of their own! It is my goal to create One of a Kind (OOAK) sculptures that bring joy and happiness to their new owners.
